Originally from Sacramento, California, Sammy Verner earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego—where she also met her husband, an Idaho native. After graduating in 2016, the two moved to Boise to call it home. Sammy went on to earn her Master of Health Sciences in Physician Assistant Studies from the Murphy Deming College of Health Sciences in Staunton, Virginia, graduating in 2019.
Sammy has been caring for patients Boise since completing her training and joined Dr. Brooks’ practice in 2021. Sammy has the joy of working collaboratively with Dr. Brooks to ensure everyone in their office is well care for. She focuses on delivering excellent, personalized, and truly patient-centered care—always making sure her patients feel heard, supported, and comfortable.
Outside of work, Sammy enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends—usually while chasing after her two young children. She also loves cooking, playing tennis, running, traveling, serving at her church, and spending time outdoors.
